"Spotted the venue on a Saturday walk around the harbour arm and decided to come back for the “Meze Monday” offer. However, we ended up having a gorgeous meat meze for two. The food was authentic and presented perfectly. Service was spot on too. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and will most definitely be returning. The repurposed railway carriages makes for a very cosy and quirky atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough."

This place is an absolute gem. Bernie and Tony, the owners, don’t just run the show – they make you feel like you’re guests in their own home. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. And Emma? A star. Friendly, sharp, attentive, service with soul. The food? First-class Eastern Mediterranean plates, bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Think vibrant, fresh, moreish, the kind of dishes you remember and crave again the next day. Add in the setting, sea air, harbour views, people-watching paradise, and you’ve got the kind of dining experience that makes you feel like you’re on holiday, even if you’re just down the road. "We had the most wonderful evening, in a setting that gives a calming atmosphere and of course delicious food. We were warmly welcomed and spoiled throughout by our waitress. We were not rushed at all and enjoyed each of the dishes from the Valentines menu. A beautiful carriage with exceptional food, perfectly presented and looked after by our attentive and knowledgeable waitress together enriched our evening beyond expectation."

"We stopped for Sunday lunch 2 weeks ago + was served by Hayleigh a young waitress who was absolutely lovely. She was friendly, helpful, efficient + knowledgeable. She is a credit to her employers. We tried the prawns which were large + succulent, the flavours were delicious. We also shared the Chicken gyros with Tzaziki which was filling. The Mediterranean Tonic water was refreshing. The only negative is the wooden benches are hard with no back support. Plenty of garden umbrellas. It’s over an hours drive for us but we will definitely be back soon."

"The food here was amazingly tasty, the flavours where really vibrant and delicious without being overwhelming. Service was attentive without being invasive and the server was incredibly helpful. Well priced with good drink and dessert options. We regret not having been sooner but will definitely be back! The hummus and the prawns where stand out meze and the pistachio semifreddo was a perfect was to end the meal."

"We visited for our wedding anniversary in early December. Lovely food and amazing service. Super friendly and helpful waitress and the food was absolutely delicious - I particularly enjoyed the calamari but all of it was very enjoyable. Had a limoncillo spritz (or two) which was refreshing and a nice alternative to wine with my meal. Both my husband and I had a thoroughly pleasant evening and really liked the restaurant- had a nice buzz without being overwhelming. We sat inside as was December and freezing out! Can’t comment on the dessert as we were both too happily full from the meze but we did have hot drinks afterwards which were also very good (hot chocolate for him and a liquor coffee for me). Highly recommend and will be back!"
